APAC Professional Development Reimbursement Program
Appointed Professional Advisory Council (APAC) is pleased to announce we will be considering applications for professional development reimbursement awards. What does this mean for you? Money in your pocket as reimbursement for training that makes you more innovative and effective in your job, and more valuable to the University.
For example, are you attending a conference or workshop, or a course aimed at enhancing a specific skill set? Are you working towards achieving a professional certification? If you can make a good argument that your unit, your department, and the University will benefit from your initiative, fill out an application. APAC wants to help.
These funds may cover any expense related to professional development. The money can go towards travel expenses, registration fees, course materials, books, and even hotels.
This great opportunity has been brought to you by the Appointed Professionals Advisory Council and the University of Arizona.
The 2018-19 application period will open begins Monday, August 27 and closes Friday, September 21. Complete the application here.
Please note that recipients of educational assistance via expense reimbursement are strongly encouraged to discuss questions related to tax liability, or the amount that may be owed in taxes, with a tax adviser.
